I want to buy a steam bundle but can't figure out how to link my account

Although I use steam to launch the game, I don't think that I initially downloaded the game via steam (I got a friend's invite,) so I want to make sure I link my accounts correctly. I searched the forum here but found lots of discussions about the steam packs, but nothing clear about making sure the account was setup for it. 1) I see "web login" but no "steam login"

2) Under my profile I see only 3 options: switch user / change nick / invite  there is no "email binding" 

 

Any suggestions? I wasn't interested in any of the summer store packs, but I'm psyched to get the M18 steam one!

did you install the game on Steam or did you just 'add a non-Steam game to your library' ?

can you open the Steam overlay when you start the game ?

I think I added a non-steam game. I do not know where to find the steam overlay in game, but I have steam open with my friends list and what not... but not "in game"

this could be the problem... you need to have WT installed on Steam (otherwise Steam is basically just a lauch pad).

you can either download the whole game from Steam (go to the Steam store and search for War Thunder) or you 

can save some time (and download bandwidth) by copying your existing WT files.
