couple of months ago when they changed bomber DM models so that they all lost their tails as soon as you even looked at them.

That was true perhaps at the individual single encounter level, but you would still be overcome by full-team bomber spam. Fighters just can't kill them fast enough. The fighters will eventually run out of ammo, fuel or "have to" rtb to repair. The average players' gunnery is not that spectacular and it's fairly common to see people struggle to bring down bombers. As a result some bombers would always get through and eventually spacebar their way to winning.

yeah true but for some time it was so frustrating for bomber pilots that their number was significantly decreased. It didn't last long but there was time where spam was not a problem and fighters reigned

However, because its difficult you have two other modes to learn and practice in. AB and RB are part of the learning curve, which you need to master before you get to the full controls and Head tracking and VR in the cockpit view stuff. 

 

You don't get to put on your ballerina tutu and waltz into SIM because its easy for you since your learning and damn difficult for everyone else because they have spent years mastering the learning curve. 

People who cannot fly in cockpit view with full difficulty, belong in AB and RB.

 

Would anybody mind, if bombers were flying in cockpit mode with turrets and a proper bomb sight? No . .of course not

 

People mind because they are flying arcade rules in SIM.

 

There is really no justification for the current inclusion of bombers  in SIM under the present implementation.

I absolutely would if the fighters/bombers ratio would be what it is right now. I really don't care what the bomber game play consists of as long as the fighters/bombers ratio overall gets back to a sane level. They can make bombers easier to fly for all I care just as long as there are fewer of them.

That means some kind of hard limit, which BR increases do not adequately do.

I did a bomber game. For sience!!!! I have been in the game from the start and delivered 50 tons of tnt. I did not finish a complete af but even though my team did accomplish just a hand full tasks it was over after 2 hours. There was no activity by the enemy.y
