OfffMyMeds 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2019 Hello everyone, forgive me if I'm posting in the incorrect forum for this topic, but I was curious if you should place your decals in the fashion so that attackers from the front can see it correctly, or attackers/friendlies from behind can see it correctly? I've refrained from using decals recently as I can't seem to decide which way it should be. Thank you in advance magazine2 (Posted July 13, 2019) Welcome to the forum :) Moved your thread to F.A.Q and Tutorials.
krise_madsen 441 Report post Posted July 14, 2019 Generally speaking, only you will notice your own decals, so place them in the way you think is the prettiest. IRL, up=forward is most used: If you stand the aircraft on its tail, the "up" end of the decal should point up/any text is pointing the right way up. But again, you're likely the only one who will really see the decals on your plane so place them the way you prefer. Hint: If you want ideas for correct or authentic-looking decal placement, google images of said aircraft and/or unit.
