fourmj 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2019 I've been playing warthunder on my mid 2014 Macbook Pro for a while now and it runs fine. However, I have an issue now where I can't play the game. I can log in to my account, but I get error codes after that. I'm playing through steam. First, when I open the launcher on steam, a pop-up appears saying "Launcher Error Update" and "Couldn't update Launcher in /Users/(user name)/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/War Thunder/WarThunderLauncher.app/Contents/MacOS". I've already un-installed and re-installed the game. I also tried doing check files. The steam launcher also says 1.89.1.109, which is the latest update afaik, so I'm not sure why it is having an update error if it's already fully up-to-date. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? If I try logging in using the steam option after pressing "Play" on the launcher menu, I just get this error code: 80130182. I get this error code for the gaijin login option and when I try bypassing the launcher by starting the game directly from the files: 81110013 I've attached an image of the pop-up below. relliK 3,227 Report post Posted July 17, 2019 overall this looks like some sort of connection issue (to me). are you connected to a college / university campus network by any chance ? (there may be network restrictions applied that prevent the launcher and the ciient to connect to needed sources) 2 hours ago, fourmj said: The steam launcher also says 1.89.1.109, which is the latest update afaik, so I'm not sure why it is having an update error if it's already fully up-to-date. the launcher is showing the game version but not the launcher version... so your launcher may not be on the latest avaliable version while the game client is. usually this isn't really an issue and it is not the reason why you cannot login to the game - though the (root) cause of those two different issues may be the same. more information about the launcher issue may be shown in launcher logs (located in /Users/User Name/WarThunderLauncherLogs/ afaik) those could help solving the issues both on the launcher and the client...
