Frustration with inconsistent Enforcement of community guidelines

After months of dealing with issues from F4WRD such as racism, anti-semitism, trolling, and teamkilling the community has little tollarence of their ****. The recent sabotage of the CBLT squadron is the FINAL straw. 

 

The leaders of BofSs, OFNIR, OOFNIR, RO6, 1MAW, 2MAW, THC, BTAP, KHAOS, BigF, -29-,4fG, and CBLT are putting F4wrd members on notice: you have one week to leave the squadron and mend fences, or all of the major english-speaking squadrons will consider you banned. You will not be allowed to join any of these squadrons, and we will be checking username and squadron histories for future applicants.

 

We ask Gaijin to look at their community guidelines and evaluate if they think that this type of behavior is permitted and allowed to take place. This behavior is not only allowed but encouraged in F4WRD and has led to much frustration within the community. The community as a whole is extremely frustrated at the lack of action from Gaijin and would like them to take a stance on the matter!

I 100% agree. The mod team and gaijin have yet to apply any consequences to their actions. The mods wish to let them handle it? Then why has nothing been done, they have been a thorn in the community for months, and have gotten worse. This goes beyond trolling, this is flat out sabotage of squadrons competing in Squadron battles.

For sure, the lack of any sort of consequences for their actions is very disappointing and the community is getting very frustrated.

I think they just have to get rid of the whole squadron at this point, it also doesn't help that gaijin doesn't have a reporting zone on the forums where you would post proof of them flaming in chat or breaking tos in any way and then a mod would check your post, see the proof and then ban / mute them.

As much as I want to say that's true, not everyone cares about the history of a squadron; only being a part of them. I'm certain most of us joined a squadron to get a fancy title next to our name.

I don't think F4WRD deserves to exist anymore but you cannot hold innocent people accountable. Just doesn't work.

As true as this usually is, F4WRD has a massive reputation, and joining them without knowing their past would be an act of ignorance.

That's a blatant lie. I've found much sympathy from people in matches EVEN despite me being a part of F4WRD. I do not know what they had done in the past and honestly, i don't care about it. I joined them because they were kind to me and are honestly really friendly (most of them) if you're not openely hostile towards them right from the start.

From my perspective, it's the top squadrons that see F4RWD as enemy, while players outside them doesn't care.

My opinion though.

 

edit. i was TK'd once by a member of BofSs just by being a part of the squadron. Thats double standards right there.

Tell that to F4WRD taking it so seriously that they had to spoil other people's experiences to stay on some game's leaderboard.
THEY sabotaged a Squadron so as to take revenge and eleminate a threat as they were 15th and now they are top 10 at 8th place. THEY took it too seriously. We are just trying to see justice done.

I've had very aggressive run ins with F4WRD before, and I tend to hold a grudge against that.(I've only just recently joined Cobalt so the sabotage didn't effect me) but I still get quite aggressive when I think they try to justify it. Overall im not cut out for SRBs tbh, way to aggressive myself

I've been playing SRE with BofSs since before RWT broke off and formed F4wrd. I dont like collective punishment on principle, but there isnt really another way to rectify this. Too many players in F4wrd are toxic teamkillers who get a hard on for ruining other players experience, both in SRE and in random battles.

 

It is time that they be held accountable for their behavior.

A lot of yall seem to be on the bandwagon of "ignore them and they will stop". I have yet to see any evidence of this. Like I stated before, they have gone beyond normal levels of "trolling" by going into a squadron and kicking out a majority of that squadrons players during an SQB season. This is nothing short of sabotage.

First of all, as far as I know, the whole CBLT thing was because someone at CBLT with a high rank trusted the bad-guy-whatever-his-name-was, making CBLT partially at fault. I don't know the whole story, correct me if I'm wrong

Second of all, you people do know, that there is a report function, right? if someone is being an arse you can just report them, you do know that, right? right???

Third of all, by collectively punishing the whole squadron, including the innocent players, you're no better than the controversial offenders, and in my opinion, people saying that "gaijin should ban everyone in the F4WRD squadron just for being in the squadron" should also be punished for trying to force an unjust punishment.

Anyway, if anything, don't hold innocent people responsible for what other did because that makes you no better than the offenders.

When the squadron promotes and praises the toxic actions of their members, should they also not be held accountable? The F4WRD leadership should feel some semblance of responsibility for their members. The fact that they do not and will not keep their members in check is a major issue.
