Is there a way to zoom only when RMB is held?

I'm currently fine-tuning my controls, and have Zoom Camera bound to RMB (default), as shown below:

 

 

Is there a way to configure it so that the camera only zooms while RMB is pressed? Ie. a zoom in / zoom out cycle would be one click, rather than two?

 

I can't see an in-game setting for this, but does anyone know a way I might get this to work?

This is definitely possible for tank, not sure about planes or ships.  What you'll want to do is unbind the Zoom Camera found under Common tab (or change it to another button), and bind the Zoom Camera found under the Tank tab.

The thing about this set up though, you can hold RMB and let go to zoom for tanks, but you can't press RMB to zoom with planes or ships, since it seems these vehicles don't have an equivalent control as Tank's Zoom Camera.  You'll likely want to bind the Common Zoom Camera to something other then RMB if you want to use the same zoom for other vehicles.

Thanks a lot! I don't quite understand the second part about why this wouldn't work for planes or ships, but I managed to figure it out from this. Somehow, I hadn't noticed that there were different zoom binds for common and for each vehicle class.

 

For anyone else wondering how to configure this for planes, completely unbind the Toggle Zoom under Common > View Controls. Under Aircraft > Camera Control, assign RMB (or whatever button you want to use) to the Maximum value, leaving the rest of the values for zoom axis blank. Tanks and ships seem to have the same option for Zoom Axis, so I'm assuming you could assign each vehicle class to the same zoom button, while leaving the common zoom unbound (?)
