Game wont launch via Steam..?

Anyone else have the problem with launching the game via steam...? I have tried legit everything I have saw online, Reinstalling,Disable WiP all that stuff I just don't get it lol

Have you tried launching it via the executable file?

 

That is the way i have been doing it for years and i don't even need to launch steam to do it.

 

You can find it in SteamLibrary --> Steamapps --> common --> War Thunder --> Win 32 or 64 (depending what bit your windows is) --> aces.exe

 

Once you double click that a window should pop up and ask if you want to update. I generally press yes but if i know theres not an update for the game i press no.

Yes I can do that but then I can't use my steam wallet to buy eagles :/

try a clean boot to rule out any (3rd party) background tool interfering with the execution of the client from the launcher.

 

also when running the client directly via the aces.exe you could try the 'web login' instead of the normal login (or the

steam login button which won't be available anyway when the client isn't getting started from Steam) - on the 'web login'

page you should be able to use the 'Steam login' but tbh i have no clue whether you can use the Steam wallet like this

or not (since the Steam overlay is not running)... maybe still worth a try.
