I guess ZTQ-15 has at least 40km/h reversing speed. May you have some information about the reversing speed?

ZTQ-15 used a CH series transmission, not the CH1000 on 99A but some other model of it; don't have the catalogue for it

A bit late, but I think it should be the same as here:

In this video was officially revealed using of CH700B in FX0012 power pack for VT5.

I think so as CCTV-7 just had a program on VT-5:my_precious:

Meanwhile, I probably should try to find more info about FX0012 PP. I mean, if there's one for VT5 or 15, there should be other power pack for 99A and VT4.

I found an interesting website having some interesting assembling pictures.

https://thedeaddistrict.blogspot.com/2020/10/chinese-type-15-light-tank-in-assembly.html

(Just to clarify from being swatted, all pictures are from the internet)

Quite neat to see how the armour beneath looks like.

Also there are several configurations:

Light config:

It seems to me that it only has thin (I guess composite) armour on the basic armour, as the turrent seems no different from the naked one from the website

Heavy Config:

Compares to the light config, all the additional thin armour was replaced by a much thicker persumably ERA, even in the area around beside the breach and on the top(Ignore the missing side skirts, I heard that PLA often train without them to reduce wearing).

There are the primary variants used by the PLA, and they all have spaced armour in the side of the turrent function as storage basket(Maybe function similar to the lepoard 2).

Here is a picture showing them side by side, with heavy on the left and light on the right:

There are also some config only used for export and prototyping(VT-5), I would assume they use thick composite screens.

Im afraid the article will look messy, and I apologize for that.

忽略缺少的侧裙,我听说解放军经常在没有它们的情况下训练以减少磨损

In fact, as long as you observe carefully, you will find that there are semicircular sockets in pairs between the side armor plates. They are the socket of the side armor hanger.
