Yeah. It would have been really cool if Czechoslovakia could finish its post-war tank projects like TVP, or like you mentioned TNH-57-900. Sad that due to Soviet influence, these designs were never build. Still, there is actually enough information about some of the vehicles for them to be added to the game. (certainly more information than for Ho-Ri we have in game), and that does not include only the post-war designs, but WW2 ones like T-24 or T-25 also. Im not going to add these to my proposal to keep the tree clean of any paper designs, but if Gaijin adds some of those project tanks to the actual tree, i would be very happy

Well, if I remember. Post war modernisation of T-15 have been done. Also at least one panther spg was tested (But no photos unfortunetlly. Worse with TNH-57-900, but at least hull and gun was made.

Hello, I'm going to suggest adding Czechoslovakia as a new nation to the game, and here is Czechoslovak Ground Forces Tech Tree:

https://pikpikker.neocities.org/cz_wt.html

This is my own site where you can enlarge every picture and click any tank to read about it!

The tree as a picture:

Reveal hidden contents

Czechoslovakia is known as a major tank exporter before WW2, having many unique light and medium tanks of that time. A little gap for WW2 period (rank 3) as Czechoslovakia was occupied and supported by Allies. After the WW2 Czechoslovakia was a Warsaw Pact member.

In 1993 Czechoslovakia became two separate countries - Czech and Slovakia, and their vehicles are here in the tree as well. Some of them were in service of both countries or were development in joint.

Now I will give a little review on each line.

Line 1 - is about light tanks which lead to BMP-1 modern modifications with new turrets and advanced ATGM armament.

Line 2 - Skoda tanks and then medium tanks. In 1930s Skoda and CKD (Praga) factories were fighting who produces a better tank for export, and there were so many of them as I had to make them in separate branches. Then there are medium tanks from the Allies, and after them goes T-34/85 which was produced under license and had several differences from the Soviet one, for example, better armor quality. Its successors are T-54 and T-55 modifications - some of them even got ATGM on turret. Two modern T-72 Czech modernizations conclude this medium tank line.

Line 3 - SPAAG line full of new interesting vehicles. The main difference from other SPAAG lines in the game is that this one starts with a guntruck with a 40 mm AA gun Z-1 on rank 1, but with manual loading, making it more as a tank hunter.

Line 4 - CKD (Praga) tanks that end with T-40/75, Pz. IV in Czechoslovak service. But after that we get wheeled monsters like twin-gun Jarmila II and 8x8 OT-64 with ATGM.

Line 5 - SPGs. They might look a little boring but even the Czechoslovak StuG was not exactly the same - it got another improved gun shield. Aside from license-produced SD-100 there are many special local-built SPGs like Tatra OT-810D - halftrack-based tank hunter! Dana wheeled howitzer goes next, and self-propelled mortar with some ATGM on board finished the line.

I tried to find any aircraft tech trees for Czechoslovakia but there were not any. I had a look at Czechoslovak aircraft lists and it looks like an aircraft tree may be pretty real!

Now I would like to add some words about my tech tree.

At first, I tried avoiding too many copies - and that is why not all the Czechoslovak tanks might be here (for example, there were also Sherman V and M5A1 Stuart).

All the BRs are approximate (or can be totally wrong), and were set as for arcade mode.

All the shown premium tanks can be implemented as available for purchase for Lions, pack specials or any others.

I expect Skoda S.U. and LT vz. 34 to be the Reserve tanks.

Vehicle count:

Rank 1: 9 (for research) + 7 (premiums)

Rank 2: 8 + 4

Rank 3: 7 + 2

Rank 4: 8 + 2

Rank 5: 11 + 1

Rank 6: 15 + 3

Rank 7: 6

Total: 83 vehicles (64 without premiums)

Here is the vehicle list with all the tank pictures, but only one of them has description - Tatra MT-6. You can access decent sources for all other tanks from my site (I will also answer all the questions regarding my tree if you have any!).

Something tells me that they're going to drop the T-72M4CZ into the Soviet tree as an event vehicle like the T-72M2 Moderna though... Especially since they have a bunch of Czech/Slovakia-flagged vehicles in the USSR tree already.

I hope not, they can't fit all Czechoslovak vehicles un USSR tech tree as event or premiums and it would also **** off many people for several reasons.

I agree. Also there's not so much a point to add Czechoslovak vehicles to the USSR when there's already a bunch of Post-Soviet state vehicles that haven't been given the time of day.

I'm also going to point out if they do add a Czechoslovakia tree in the future, I hope they don't pull the "if its in the marketplace we can't add the vehicle to the research tree to prevent taking value away" mentality with the Moderna as an event vehicle. Yes we have the early version still but both versions are cornerstones in development.

I dont think anybody has suggested this before but on top of normal cromwells the Czechs also used cromwell Viiis which where armed with the 95mm howitzer seen on the electo already in game. Since Britain currently does not have this cromwell type they it would make for a unique vehicle (could go at like 2.7-3.0).

Another interesting project that can be considered would be the Atpický tatra. I know it wasn't built but it would he been very similar in construction to the related tatra t-iii. Could also make for a neat rank 1 multi turret tank.Tatra_Atyp_02.jpg.8408452c2d9a0ac8063563

Sadlly, it was late production model with additional armor plates on turret, so it would be slighty unique I guess.

This is nice, i like this. But problem is: they adding Czechoslovakian stuff to Russian TT!

Russian TT doesn't need these things, like they have already anything, SPAA, heavy, medium, prototypes, IFV, light, scout, ATGM carriers..... anything.
