Hello, I'm going to suggest adding Yugoslavia as a new nation to the game, and here is Yugoslavian Ground Forces Tech Tree:

https://pikpikker.neocities.org/yug_wt.html

This is my own site where you can enlarge every picture and click any tank to read about it!

The tree as a picture:

Spoiler

yug_wt.png

Yugoslavia had many interesting tank designs like the famous Vozilo A and conversions of M3 Stuart with different weapons - and they surprisingly make the tree almost free of clone-tanks!

As you know, there was a Breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991-1992, and tanks of newly formed countries are also included into the tree.

Now I will give a little review on each line.

Line 1 - medium tanks. Some of them are just modifications of Sherman or T-34, but there are also totally unique vehicles (like M-320 and M-636), ending with Croatian MBTs.

Line 2 - tank destroyers. There is a mix of different vehicles: Skoda SPGs, conversions, APC-based TDs, and finally some heavy MLRS.

Line 3 - SPAAGs. A little bit of copies, but also a range of unique vehicles like BOV-3 with triple gun.

If you are interested in Yugoslavian aircraft, you can find it here:

Mahiwew's Yugoslavian TT version: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BMXHl5ku_-barTBUSvkq-b_RFna0DIDvVcarMfLw69A/edit#gid=0

Now I would like to add some words about my tech tree.

At first, I tried avoiding too many copies - and that is why not all the Yugoslavian tanks might be here (for example, I avoided some import tanks like M18 Hellcat or M4A3E4 Sherman).

All the BRs are approximate (or can be totally wrong), and were set as for arcade mode.

All the shown premium tanks can be implemented as available for purchase for Lions, pack specials or any others.

I expect Renault R-35 and Skoda T-32 to be the Reserve tanks.

Vehicle count:

Rank 1: 6 (for research) + 3 (premiums)

Rank 2: 6 + 3

Rank 3: 7 + 5

Rank 4: 7 + 5

Rank 5: 7 + 6

Rank 6: 12 + 5

Rank 7: 6

Total: 78 vehicles (51 without premiums)

Here is the vehicle list with all the tank pictures, but only a little number has a description. You can access decent sources for all other tanks from my site (I will also answer all the questions regarding my tree if you have any!).

This tank is a project of mounting an existing gun (76 mm M1) on an existing tank (Mk. IV (Pz. IV)), so it might work as a premium I guess. If no - the tree can go without this vehicle.

Yugoslavia had a range of different MLRS, on different chassis. I originally planned to paste them to the tree, but later I decided to add Morava MLRS - a modular MLRS. It means different rockets can be installed on this chassis without any reworkings. In theory, we could be able to install all the available rockets of 107, 122 and 128 caliber on the same vehicle (or even different rockets for each of two blocks).

Otherwise, it can be just cut into several vehicles with identical base and different armament.

I would recommend taking into account vehicles suggested by other Yugoslav advocates. MonkeyMadness created a very nice tree below for example.

Thank you! It helped me to add some more vehicles.

yis. just yis. +10, this would be one of the best next candidates for the next tree. And I want it!

(Also, I'd rather swap the SO-75 and the SDKFZ 250 ft pak 38, it just feels right to make it that way.)

You might be right, and who knows how would it be implemented in the game by developers?..

Let me introduce my simple logic: almost nothing is known about history of both these machines, but Sdkfz.250 does not have almost anything in common with the rest of the branch (while SO-75 Mk.III holds the same PaK40 as SO-75 M-3A3, and one of them could be a real predecessor of another one), and its fate during WW2 was the most mysterious in the whole tree. I still don't know much about which vehicles should be premium, but this one looks like a certain premium tank in my opinion!

A lot of this vehicles are license build or our own creations, all what is left to do is add more stuff that we got / bought from other nations and the list will almost perfect. Just need to swap some vehicles places in the tree and it will be perfect if you can make your creation of Yugoslav air force (planes AND helis) so people can see that as well will be great. +100 for joining the fight for Yugo TT :)

We just need more people to push for things like this so it'll show up on Gaijin's radar.

Many thanks to everyone for your support! I'm sure Gaijin will have their sight on Yugoslavia when the time for the next nation will come - and they will never regret implemeting it. :salute:

Who are you to say the Swedish are not interesting? If they added the Swedish tree, it's because it was far more popular than Yugo one, and that's a fact. Stop being cringe because you don't have what you want.

Btw, +1. @PikPikker

Sweden was added because it has vehicles. Actual unique ones. Yugoslavia has very little of that. It's about the bottom of the barrel for trees to be added. I fully expect the last standalone tree to be Israel because that's all that's left. All of these posts are delusional thinking there's enough vehicles for it.

That's absolutely ridiculous and does no assistance to your own cause. You can clearly see that Yugoslavia has many unique vehicles to offer and don't try change the subject. Furthermore you have no idea how many times I had to defend the basic idea of a Swedish tech tree on its merit. I had people telling me the Swedish should not be included because they were neutral, I had individuals telling me they wouldn't have enough domestic vehicles and now you want to bash another content creator? From a purely historical standpoint Yugoslavia has given more of its own blood for this free world than Sweden ever has. If you're going after Pikker at least have some respect for the amount of work she put into making these trees.

Yugoslavia has more merit for addition to the game than Sweden ever did imo. Check the tree. They have a litany of unique vehicles and domestic variants of existing ones. In addition to not being neutral during the war (far from it) the country had a civil war in the 90s. These yugoslav vehicles have more proven combat ability than anything we have seen from Sweden thus far.

I think that you may be the delusional one for thinking so little of such a battle proven set of vehicles. Perhaps you should look at the tree that Pikker made. She worked very hard on this as well as other trees from around Europe.

Personally I believe a "thank you" it even a "good job" would suffice rather than belittling this project. It is after all the bottom of the barrel of politeness to be expected.

I would suggest adding the Polish 7TP to the Yugoslav tree. Approximately 36 examples were negotiated in August 1939 but never delivered due to the German invasion. The same could be done for the Turkish tech tree.

Interesting, I added it as a premiium :good:

@PikPikker @Borotovas In relation to the post I made for the Turkish tree, about wanting Slovenian armor, I did find a unique premium that could go in the Yugoslav tree. mnn6Ts0.jpg
