1.97 Rumor Round-Up and Discussion

I have a mid-tier computer, and I can already predict that if WT was to upgrade from its current weather to MSFS2020 style weather, it would (in my case) probably be disastrous in terms of graphics, framerate and packet loss.  I rather have the weather remain like it presently is than get a graphically top-of-the-range but virtually unplayable game...

*Has flashback to two decades ago when installing the original IL-2 Sturmovik on a 1998 mid-range desk-top computer, and getting a slide-show game framerate*

Could someone briefly explain what is so bad about Hellfires? I don’t have any hell with Hellfires not  Vihkr so I have no idea what all of this is about

Hellfires take a really long time to hit distant targets due to their trajectory and the laser guidance makes them easily lose track if there's any obstacle in the way (trees, bushes, smoke plumes, etc) even for a moment. The Vikhr works like a regular ATGM, the missile goes towards the point you have your crosshairs on and the proximity fuze makes it much easier to hit any aircraft with them.

Unfortunately our hopes gets crushed day after day Ahahahahha

If we were to receive a server maintenance announcement, it would be some 2-3 hours from now. There's still time.

Why would someone go around all of the games they don't play anymore and post on their forums? I'd rathers spend time on the forums of games I like...

If only i knew ... Guess the quarantine is boring for some people

You're kind of missing the point. You complain about games that you like, not the ones you don't.

Yeah dude , because he's liking the game so much he can't wait for it to die.

Maybe because he doesn't like the way it's heading? Not hard to understand.

Regardless there tons of bug fixes coming and general life improvements. You can't just say "game breaking bugs" without listing what game breaking bugs (he's also in the wrong section for that).

Also no matter how much bugs they fix there will always be bugs that's part of a games life cycle. But im getting off topic.

I think people became more and more disappointed with War Thunder’s clouds after seing Flight Simulator 2020’s PRE-alpha footage xD

They are impressive clouds, but then again Flight Simulator 2020  is rumoured to need 32 GB of RAM, meanwhile War Thunder will run on just about anything which has remotely modern hardware.
