Exactly. Their production numbers making them superior since WWII IRL, but that doesn't mean US planes can beat all planes gonna be added in game. As You know every country has their own doctrines and every plane has their own characteristics which has + / - against others

But they'll have the brightest future in War Thunder in terms of their overall possible unique content, just like the USSR/Russia. 

For example Italy can get the F-104, Tornado, Eurofighter and F-35, than it's kinda over for them (not accounting for trainer aircraft).

They can get different versions of these aircraft: F-104G/S/ASA, Tornado ADV/ECR/IDS, F-16A/B, A-11A/B and etc.

Also their trainers have different combat versions: S.211, MB.326K, MB.339K, M.346FA and etc.
