There is no comparison between France and Turkey. There are still many competitive french tanks and aircraft that are waiting to be added to the game. France always had an immeasurably bigger arms industry than Turkey, both in quality and quantity.

Its about time Gaijin added them then

Very cool idea, but only a cool fantasy TT... People should get that they don't make new tech trees according to political views or personal fantasies. We need to look at things in realistic ways. Even Azerbaijani hardwares addition is kinda tenuous since all their arsenal is based on Soviet/Russian tech with very few exceptions of Turkish & Israeli exports.

It would be cool to see vehicles from various Turkic countries, but I don't think Gaijin would do that favor to this TT honestly.

Far from fantasy actually. When I look at the Hungarian Tech Tree Proposal on the forum, I see they lack the uniqueness at higher ranks. While Turkey lack the uniqueness at lower ranks. Hungary and Turkey complement each other really well. And they have some relations too. Thats why I suggested a coalition between them. If I had suggested Yugoslavian vehicles for example for the lower ranks, It would be the fantasy. If Gaijin wants to add new nations to the game, I would personally prefer coalitions(there has to be relations of course between the countries) than copy-paste or incomplete tech trees. But, I respect other's opinion too.

Gaijin is unpredictable. They'll probably add 1-2 WW2 french planes in some upcoming updates. Floatplanes are expected too as the french navy will come out this year.

I am more interested in the ww2 ground vehicles they could have implement instead of the AMX  . France is a nation  I play with . I have no problem with cut n paste if the vehicles are at least different in appearance in some way . I do like the Syrian t34 with roof mounted machine gun and love to see it in the game but I think vehicles like that will have to come in on a Russian tech tree . Sub trees are the only way it seems .

Problem is, if we can connect nations military hardwares by this, then we can simply make Soviet-Turkish TT since the Only independent Turkic State was Rep. of Turkey until the fall of the Soviet Union which has every other Turkic States inside the union except Turkey and East Turkestan(Xinjiang) of PRC. So then we can even add China into this proposal too... That's why it's still a fantasy for me. To make such a connection, there has to be some sort of common background in founding these Armies, cooperations in modernization programs or they have to use similar hardware. Right now only common equipment between the Hungarian and Turkish Army are Turkish-made Nurol Ejder, Nurol Yörük, Leo2A4s, possible future UAV sales, some utility trucks and small arms that's all... I don't think these are enough to link these 2 Army. Even USA-Turkish or Israeli-Turkish TT makes more sense :dntknw:

There are hardly any nations left to make a full tech tree. Perhaps, Sweden was the last. If Gaijin wants to add a new tech tree, there are 3 possible options; a) Copy-paste like China, b) Incomplete like Israel or c) coalitions where 2 or more countries unite to make a complete tech tree. The last is the best option in my opinion. As far as I can understand, you want even more relations between countries to make a coalition than Hungary-Turkey offers. But Gaijin does not have this luxury because there are not many countries in the world that have very close relations and their vehicles complement each other for a video game. Gaijin can not be as strict as you if they decide to add a coalition tech tree. So they may have to be a little bit lenient. Of course my argument is invalid if Gajin decides add Turkey as a standalone tech tree with copy-pastes or incomplete like Israel. And I would honestly not support these two options..

In short, Gaijin probably can not and should not be as strict as you when making coalition nations for a video game and try to seek for extremely strong relations between countries..

I think United Korean TT and Yugoslavian TT still has high potential, but after them, yes... No other nation with high potential left to add. So beyond that point idk if Gaijin will focus on adding any new nation.

ASEAN would be more interesting than SAARC... Cuz SAARC is relying high on Russian and Chinese Hardware with few Western exceptions we alr see in-game with few changes. But if you'd ask me a Turkish TT would provide more unique stuff even comparing to ASEAN :dntknw:

well yeah that's true though.I think Turkish independent tech tree would be the best since ASEAN tech is also gonna be a lot like copy paste mostly from china and russia.

Well... Since Mi28A will be premium for Swedish Heli Tree, I don't see anything wrong adding M1A2 SEP, Leo2A6TR, Leclerc, T84-120 Yatağan to this proposal :dntknw:

Since they've been tested in every condition both in Turkey and home countries and also painted in Turkish Army schemes to look even prettier.

I even honestly think all these tanks more suitable to this tree comparing to Mi28A and AH64A to Swedish Heli TT

Difference being that Turkey has Leopards, the Altay and the M60TM as top rank MBTs, so they don't need evaluation vehicles to have a top tier. The same can't be said for Swedish helicopters.

I don't know about other three but T-84-120 deserves to be in Turkish TT as it was modified for Turkey. Of course not much sense adding Soviet vehicles in Western dominated tech tree as researchable one, it would be fine premium, squadron or event vehicle to bolster already potent top tier line-ups. I wish plans to modify Leclerc passed mock-up state but well, it did not.

The thing is, Turkey does not really need those except Yatağan due to reason I stated above. There's already strong line-up potential with at least two L/55 armed tanks, Altay and Leopard 2A4 with Altay Turret. Though I do believe  T1/T2, AHT and latest BMC prototype should be represented separately.

I mean if there's nothing then leave it as it is ? Finnish premium with greater research bonuses without Rank restrictions would be a lot more sensible you know, but hey Snail has better ideas...

when turkish tech tree guys

I've been collecting info about vehicles and there's quite a bit. Sadly I don't have much time around and I have no idea about placing ATGM and Auto-Cannon armed vehicles. All in all, Turkey has great number of vehicles that are unique upgrades and indigenous ones and a bit out right copy-paste ones to fill some gaps. I've so far completed two MBT lines, one American based and one German based, if somehow I can create some time will post it.

I agree with you about needing those in such Turkish TT, but as AH64A and Mi28A of Swedish Heli Tree shown us, things aren't working like that anymore :dntknw:

You can simply add vehicles who competed in tender even if they've not been tried by your own crew (not a case with our 4 competitors of Tank 2000 Tender of Turkish Army).

That's why I was against the idea of these 2 heli to be added on Swedes Tree, but here we are now... so I'm no longer even thinking Turkish TT isn't unique enough anymore.

That addition just opened a wide path for many suggestions :good:

That sounds sweet, but same intention for filling gaps somehow never works with Japanese, Chinese and even Italian TT :dntknw: so it makes me think like mmmm.

Japan does have an M47, of which they only operated one for evaluation. China also has the captured T-62. The Swedish helis don't set much of a precedent.

Finland doesn't have any ATGM-armed helicopters. Though one realistic option would be the Danish AS.550 with 4xTOW (same launchers as the HKP 9A), might be worth making a suggestion for even if it wouldn't be very good of a premium.

At least they really had 1 irl which they could test and work on it to design their own. Also same with PLA captured T-62, they literally owned it irl, not like checking a hardware on Defence EXPO ...and you know tier VI Tanks are not comparible with helis like Havoc and Apache. I don't think these are comparable cases for Swedish addition, but these 4 Tanks case is :dntknw:

Same idea with even more tangible background. We were like if you don't have one irl, then no need in game as well, but it was until now, sorry... from now on any excuses for such additions are being kind of favouring specific trees and opposite for rest

For some reason I though Finnish MD500 was armed. Only Mi bothers me it was neither bought/leased and piloted by Swedes. AH on the other hand is kind of acceptable for me, it was leased by the army if im not mistaken tested throughly by Swedish pilots.

They did bought it though unlike Mi.

Well as I said, I only object to Mi, my reasoning my not be the best but makes sense to add top tier vehicle that was at least tested properly unlike Mi. Though, I have nothing to offer to replace Mi as of now. I could not find anything non of the neighboring countries have anything proper.

We kind of diverted from the main topic a lot, so let me share some modernized M60A3 under Fırat Modernization Program. This upgrade package brings M60A3s protection to M60TM level while retaining the 105mm main gun. It would be placed right after M60A3 TTS as Rank VII vehicle.
