What is the best to max out first...

I dont mean nations. At the moment im working on Germany. I spent golden eagles on the crews and maxed out a few for fleet, air and ground forces (Yes, I know this was likely a waste of money, I did it years ago)

I am just getting back into the game and learning everything again. I was wondering what I should max out first in the way of vehicles. I was thinking air craft since they can be used in other modes, but I dont enjoy playing them much. 

Any ideas?

Also, I am curious as to what nation is the easiest to play currently, but thats not my main concern at the moment.

Actually, having maxed out several crews myself.  I can safely say its probably one of the most effective uses of GE you can do, outside of buying vehicles.  There's a huge difference playing vehicles with very low level crews compared to maxed crews.  

 

As far as what vehicles you should max out first...  Its really up to what you enjoy playing most.

Hard to say what nation is the easiest but I would recommend sticking with the america, germany or USSR just so you can have full lineups. Also grinding planes is easier in my opinion so maybe start with that, but only if you actually enjoy playing them. CAS is no longer a necessity in ground RB so if you just like tanks and ships you can probably ignore planes without missing out on much.

Thats what I figured about the crews. Thinking about doing the same to the Russians next, max out 2 or 3 of them.

I was planning on doing one of those three and then moving over to the Italians or something.

Personally I'm not putting too much weight in Crew Skills. Especially for tanks. Regarding planes there are some that affect handling which can make a difference, with ships AA gunners are scary deadly, for example. But in general for all 3 modes, there are certain skills that are more important than others. For tanks, I listed in a different thread that you could max all of the important stuff and some more, and still only be Lv 75, while max is Lv 150. It's mainly a matter of priorities. Some skills are primary skills, others secondary. Some skills you might not even need in the game mode you play.

To change the effect of a vehicle, vehicle modifications tend to make more of a difference. It's a much bigger difference between a Stock vehicle and a Spaded vehicle, than it is with a Lv 1 crew and a max crew, from my own experienced. But all of this is still trumped by a player's playstyle and choices made during battle.

 

Regarding what you want to max out. 

What is your goal? Reaching top tier? Unlocking all of them? Spade them all? Be competitive with them?

If you wont play a vehicle, there's little reason to spade it, unless you're after some of the RP bonuses by getting mods, and increased research efficiency.

 

Personally I'll just play with some friends and enjoy the company. I set small goals, like doing the warbonds. That's pretty much it. It still keep me playing for some hour each day.

Honestly I think my goal right now is to just learn the game while playing. I keep playing and then stopping for a long while before starting again after changes have been made. Curse of playing solo I guess, I dont have anyone to really play along with. I did decide to focus on Germany and the U.S. first though. I get bored with one and move to the other.

You get some crew exp while playing so i wouldnt max them out, but it´s nice to spend 2-300 eagles to boost the reload speed, bit of stamina and weapon maintenance some for air arcade.

if u fly realistic u can skip the reload speed and take some gforce tolerance and vision instead. What mode do u play?

 

 

Gunners exp on a fighters crew makes no sense. some nations dont even have bombers that uses 10 gunners, so that crew skill is often also a waste if done too much.

wait until or if u even get a bomber and adapt the crew to that one on the slot u placed it on.

 

so i recommend to take it easy on that, but it is a good choice of eagle use. The little i get have often gone to extra crew slots and a few hundred to boost them up somewhat early..

 

Premium vehicles are some days of the year on -50% discount, and one can get trophies from matches that grants discounts on particular ones... So i would wait for those before getting premium vehicles unless its something u´d really like to have and u dont mind paying for.

 

but those are the uses for eagles that can be worth it imo. Crew slots, little bit of crew exp, and some premium vehicles. If u wanna fly a match or two tonight i´d be up for it.

Ive maxed out a few of my German crews, but not any of the other nations. I mainly play tanks at the moment but I have been looking to get into planes and the naval forces.
