The ZTL-11 (sometimes referred to as ZTL-09) is a 105mm 8x8 fire support vehicle, based on the ZBL-08 AFV family.  It has a crew of four, including commander, driver, gunner and loader. The vehicle is powered by a 440hp engine and has a top speed of 100km/h. The protection is basic steel underneath with add-on ceramic plates (similar to what is seen on American Stryker) with claimed frontal protection against 25mm rounds and all-around protection against 12.7mm rounds. The vehicle is also fully amphibious.

 

This vehicle was designed to fill the fire support role that had been previously held by the PTL-02, featuring a more powerful 105mm gun and an 8x8 chassis compared to the PTL-02 6x6 chassis. It is attached to the recently developed 162 light mechanized infantry, as well as some use in heavy infantry and marine units. It was introduced in 2009 and about 100 have been produced. 

 

 

The main gun is the 105mm rifled Chinese variant of the venerable L7 with 36 rounds. Secondary armament consists of a coaxial 12.7mm MG and a loader's 7.62mm MG. The main gun can be depressed to -6 degrees and raised to 18 degrees and loading time is between 6-8 RPM. Both gunner and commander have access. Chinese 105mm APFSDS round is called BTA2 and has 220mm of penetration at 66.42 degress at 2000m. It can also fire a gun-launched ATGM, considered to be equivalent to the 9M117 Bastion, seen on the BMP-3. 

 

Many nations ingame now have a fast 8x8 platform carrying at least a 105mm gun. This is the perfect option to fill that same role in the Chinese tech tree. It would also add more depth to the currently lacking Chinese Top Tier, especially since it will add the mobility factor not really present in the Type 96 tanks. It would also indirectly help the Russian top tier in RB, since China and Russia are grouped together and when facing NATO teams, they often want for mobility and flank protection. On top of that, its commander's thermals would allow it to be an excellent scout.

Definitely +1. This would make a big difference to top tier. Also, given how popular other wheeled 105s have been, adding this for China may get more people interested in them again, which can only be a good thing.

Clarification

Too Be honest with you, I think this vehicle should be implemented into the game because first the Chinese techtree doesn't have that much vehicles so it would be the best if this vehicle gets added into the game when the next big update comes out. Also now we can have the Chinese 4x4 wheel tank with Thermals, APFSDS rounds, Laser RangeFinder, Smoke Grenade, Scout etc just like the Centauro and the Japanese Type 16.  I hope this tank will be added soon!
