Next patch and beyond wishlist - everything except trees

I'd like a new mechanic that gives radio and radio operator some use (I don't know if someone propposed this alredy). It would work as follows:

-Radio transmits information about the tanks you see the enemy playing to other tanks. 

-The higher the level of a skill the faster and more precise it would be: if  you see a tank it transmits the kind of vehicle it is (medium, light, etc.), after a few seconds in your sight you can identify  the player who is playing it and then the exact model of the tank, so it would appear in the "tab" just like the allied tanks but in the other side. 

-Hitting someone no longers say what are you shooting at.

-If radio gets destroyed, you can repair it 

-If radio gets damaged, starts working slower. The more damaged the more time you'll need to transmit the info to others.

I'd love to hear your opinion on this and how would you do it.

Wishlist :

- Po-2 gets a jet engine with afterburner 

- RBT-5 get a 120mm with APFSDS

- Game gets fixed in 1.91

- Adequate T2 counters

So uhmm, that doesn't say what you think it says.

 

It states an increase in ballistic efficiency between 10-15% when comparing the older cast armour with the newer steel armour.

It does not say that this figure is true for the overal effectiveness of the composite array, in fact, it even hints at the opposite:

 

'' One of the essential ways in which to enhance their ballistic protection or reduce the mass of the steel base of the tower while maintaining the existing level of ballistic protection is to increase the durability of steel armor used for turrets. ''

The "Cold War tanks" shouldn't have to face modern tanks . For example the Chieftains should be 8.0/8.3 and they won't see Leo2 & T72 on the other hand the IS-3 , WWII tanks, shouldn't get a similar BR as Centurion MK10 .       BTW Centurion just has the APDS for 7.7 ?!?!?!?!

 

Okay, I really don't think any of that makes sense.

 

1) 99% of modern tanks = Cold war tanks.

2) Currently, Chieftains already face the tanks you mentioned, my list isn't any worse in that regard.

3) Hopefully you did notice the fact that I changed the Chieftain Mk5 to the Mk5/4 with L23, this means it can quite comfortably penetrate both the T-72A and Leopard 2AV frontally.

4) Yup, and why not? the old 7.7's are all moved upwards, why should the Centurion Mk 10 be any different? besides, it'd be especially warranted as long as Gaijin keeps their word on their APDS fixes.

5) And the IS-3 also shouldn't be left to club 6.7's either.

Wishlist for 1.91:

 

-Mystere IV (at 9.0)

-SMB2 BR rise up at 9.3

-Mystere IIA down to 8.0 (why this thing should fight F-100 and Hunter F.6?)

-Mystere IIC down to 8.3 (same case as Mystere IIA)

-Vautour N (at 9.3)

-Proper Counter to T-2 for E V E R Y nation goddammit

-End of mirror match

-BR range rise up  (10.7/11.0 available)

-#fixthegame1.91

 

In a rainbow world:

-#fixthegame1.91 again

-BR decompression

-Air RB mode rework/overhaul

-More EC event (with markless event)

-rework of quality control (Hello Javelin and Hunter F.6 Flaps)

-Every introduction of vehicule with a new BR need a equal or a proper counter for E V E R Y nation (we should not wait 3 months to get a vehicule to counter the previous which was clubbing at its BR)

-MM BR spread 0.7

-More participation of community in the process of balance

- a B E T T E R communication (specialy with Community Manager.)

 

 

But I already know this won't (and probably will never) happen.

I want (naval):

 

- Better/bigger maps to end the spawn -> immediately get shot at nonesense

- Something more interesting than lazy point capture mode (encounter is boring, except maybe for cruisers)

- Maps specifically designed for cruisers to make them actually fun to play and relevant to the game

- Regia Marina

- More cruisers, assuming they get better maps (it's too soon for battleships, if they can't even get cruisers right...)

- More PG-02 nerfs

- Reduce br spread to 0.7. Maybe 1.0 uptiers would be so bad if the maps weren't so terrible.

- If you're going to add bots to the mode at least make them not completely useless and braindead. Otherwise get rid of them.

 

What I actually expect:

- More ships with zero note worthy fixes or improvements to anything

Just some stuff on my mind, not everything I'd like from 1.91

 

- Spawn point reworks

Helicopters should not be able to spawn at the start of the game, SAMs should cost a lot more to spawn over radar guided cannon AA, Larger aircraft payloads should cost more to spawn and J-outs and crashes should penalise your SP and Team Tickets to curb cap and fly. Main Battle Tanks should cost a lot more to spawn subsequent spawns imo as a way of bridging the gap between nations that have more MBTs to throw into their lineup.

 

- A review of Hull Break mechanics 

A HEAT shell hitting roadwheels shouldn't cause vehicles to Hull Break, a more specific case is the Type 16 can be hullbroken by the turret stowage being it by APFSDS. That's just silly. Hull Break should be uniformal; if the vehicle meets the low armour parameters for Hull Break, destruction of the Engine and Transmission by >75mm full calibre AP/>90mm sub calibre or HEAT or large HE hitting the hull should inflict hull break, remove any RNG from this mechanic or remove it alltogether. 

 

- All Helicopter spawn locations moved out of direct visual of the ground battle area (Sinai and American Desert are the most egregious)

 

- Tank RB BR decompression 

Just about every single vehicle at and after 7.7 needs to move around and the top cap should probably be 11.0

Removing the Maus =/= balancing it, honestly the IS-4M is in the same boat as the Maus atm

 

- Player owned helicopters available to spawn in Ground Assault Arcade

 

- Another BR step introduced in Ground Assault Arcade

8.3+ is currently too brutal, there should be 8.3 - 9.0 and 9.3+ as the current last 8.3+ step is balanced assuming every player is in a very top tier vehicle, asking tanks like the T-55/M551/Chieftains to face off against waves of Leo 2A5s and M1A1s is a bit much

 

- Mitsubishi T-2K equivalents for other nations

I want less US imports overall. I probably wouldn't be so burned about the whole thing if the vehicles replacing them kept a sort of German flavor, or were at least unique. But nope, more M48's. If the performance of the M48 in the US tree is any indication, the M48 in the German tree is going to be totally, utterly, and entirely garbage with an absolutely horrific stock grind.

 

Shoot, I'd prefer an east German T-54, but nope: only Russia gets to have their vehicles to themselves, in spite of exporting tech around as much as the US. Can't have Russian vehicles getting a taste of their own medicine, can we? ;)
