michiyl 569 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 I'm in no way experienced with this but can you please attach a launcher log so that the staff can get at least some more information? III_H_III 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) the launcher opens only in the taskbar beneath. the field turns white and it says "warthunder (settings) 0 b/sec 0 remaining". and it stays like that where should i find those launcher logs? Orber_Wilville 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) Mine won't even give me a window. Shows in the taskbar like it's running but no window, no login, no nothing. About a week or so now. Tried all the changing properties, admin etc. Then it would give the "do you want this to run" window...say yes....still never gives me a window. Last time I had a window was as that last update was downloading. Left it running went to bed. Next day, I can't play. Tried every fix I could find. Uninstalled the launcher, got the latest one from here. (did not know it would be another 10GB download) It says it's downloading right now (taskbar icon) but still no window at all. I'd be fairly upset if I had any money in this game....but things like this are why I don't. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit 1 GB Radeon HD 5800 24 GB ram Four 1 TB drives Oh yeah, two Xeon X5550 dual quad something or other. (16 processors) It's 10 years old but still works ok for most things. c4pt0r 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) I have the same issue as Orber. its not a shortcut issue and I edited the config file to say hide_to_tray_option:b=no but it just wont maximize and just stays stuck on finishing download. I've re installed a bunch of times, manually deleted any old launcher files and everything and its just stuck like this in the task bar but wont actually open. the log file doesn't say anything of value either Update: got it to work but not exactly sure what did it. its was either setting the config.blx file to say hide_to_tray_option:b=no and resetting the launcher or it might have been that i changed my text size in display properties back down to 150% from 175% the launcher opened at 175% but it was all messed up till i set it back down to 150% so I'm guessing one of those two things were the issue. hope this helps Edited June 4, 2020 by c4pt0r Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
