FrostHydra 5 Report post Posted May 9, 2020 (edited) I was playing war thunder this morning perfectly fine, and after I came back later in the afternoon to play it agian, the game couldn't even launch. The loading bar says "checking files" and takes about 1 min to completely fill up (which normally takes around 5 seconds for me if there's no patches/updates), and then it states "an error occurred". Ive hit the wrench icon at the top right and hit the "check files" button as I read on an older thread this resolved the issue, but it did nothing for me. Ive restarted the launcher (from steam) and my computer multiple times and I'm frankly confused on what could be causing the issue, as it just appeared out of the blue. After about 10 min of being stuck in this state, the launcher crashes and gives a blank crash log.
