SturmWerwolf 793 Report post Posted July 12, 2020 When I logged in a message popped up. Which I stupidly clicked off before screen capping it. It was along the lines of "EAC Auto Ban. 10 Players have complained about you. Abuse." I checked my account security and status. It seems I'm not actually banned from anything, game or chat. I verified my game files and re logged in. (I then played a few AB / RB Air, Ground and Naval matches just to double check, no problems). As someone who has played this game since 2014 with no issues or bans ever, this made little sense and I'm kinda confused how I could suddenly receive complaints from 10 players for "Abuse". I find it even stranger as it was in high tier Naval AB grinding out the Italian fleet, (Naval AB is mostly bots, with maybe 2 - 4 actual human players per team.) Hence I was barely even active in chat let alone any arguments or hostile interactions. So is this some kinda bug or did literally 10 players suddenly spam false complaints. Each reports are examined manually by a game master If you were not banned it either means they were false complains or the grievances were not severe enough to justify an action (but keep in mind you could be on a game master "watchlist" in the later case) It also has nothing to do with EAC which is automated anti cheat only banning when spotting unallowed modification If you are sure you did nothing wrong you do not have to worry Recently I got insulted by a player because he claimed I was spawn camping. I am sure he reported me But I know I do not have to worry about anything because I was sailing with my VS-10 flank speed between islands a few kilometers on front of their spawn. As long as these complaints are being manually reviewed. Still, it sounds like the system is being swamped with false reports by players with an axe to grind (like the VS-10 case you mention) hence why I thought it was a bug of some type.
