Were airborne drops of armored units permitted?

So the rules you put out ahead of the event this time said helicopters could only lift infantry armies, but everyone playing today in Chinese Farm said people were lifting and dropping their armored units willy nilly with their helos. Must have been big helos. Quote: "They can also be used by the commander to quickly move an infantry army to the enemy’s rear, or in any other important direction!" (Link)

The whole point of heavy armour is it has a long tail and the point of airmobile units is they don't. Did a sort of a key aspect of modern combined arms got messed up there? You might want to consider making the game follow the rules you made, next time, if so.

UPDATE: Title and OP edited, I think I was wrong to jump the gun based on comments downthread.

Meh, well if I was seeing things, or hearing what commanders were saying about it on chat wrong, then that's on me, I guess. It could be hard this time to understand what happened in the larger operation without a final look at the board, or a replay system, sometimes. I was playing, not watching the operation map. There were lots of times we'd be queuing up again and just heard it was over, win, or loss, and it generally seemed harder in this UI than before to look back in on the overall operation after a victory or loss, it seemed, at least not without dequeuing yourself, to understand where your battle fit into the overall picture.

It seemed easier the second season, although I understand the list of all operations confused people before. Hopefully they can bring back something for those who want to check in on specific ops, cause the missions really seemed more decoupled from the ops this time (like, you couldn't even see a partner squad's op unless you joined that match and fought a battle in it, or send an invite pointer to a friend from another squad to join your battle). But I don't have anything like a replay to point to, so best to drop it, I guess.

"Infantry armies" in WWM are jsut units with smaller numbers of vehicles than "Tank armies" - since there is effectively no infantry.

So they accurately defined what could be lifted, and you have failed to realist what it meant - nothing actually wrong or needing change at all.
