War thunder check file never ends or an error occurred

my war thunder launcher is not working, when I open it, it either gets stuck at the checking files or it finished checking files and show me "an error occurred". I don't know why. its been working yesterday. I tried to restart computer and it did nothing. please help.   

 

also its using like 199% the CPU, which is not normal.

Hi Gaijin, here are my Launcher logs from today. 

My machine specs are:

Version: 10.14.4

iMac Pro (2017)

Processor: 3.2 Ghz Intel Xeon W

Memory: 32GB 2666MHz DDR4

Graphics: Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB

you could try deleting the warthunder.yup ( /Applications/WarThunderLauncher.app/Contents/WarThunder.app/Contents/Resources/game/warthunder.yup )

and then start the launcher...

 

or instead of using the Work-in-Progress (WiP) go back to the normal / standard client

When I try to uncheck "Work In Progress" client I get a fatal squirrel error. Not sure what the squirrel is doing in my machine but I hope he finds his way out. I will try removing the yup file.

I am pretty sure you will need to re-install to fix the squirrel, I also had this problem, and only by re-installing did I free the poor little thing, and do not press the work in progress again, or the squirrel will get back into your computer.

I am currently having this exact problem. Is the only solution to install and reinstall?

Sadly I think that is the only solution I can find for now.
