Gilibran 226 Report post Posted October 29, 2020 Not just Normandy, virtually every map needs a makeover and we also need dozens of new maps to fight the boredom of the same handfull of maps over and over and over. As for Normandy, it can be an issue, but i regularly take out 1-2 snipers at A before the protection is over and then pop smoke. Another issue is, so many players dont use the maps and keep using the same small corridor. It can be risky yes, but hardly anyone uses grids D and E (south part of the map all the way to that big hangar) to approach A and snipe back. Or simply forget about the town center and push A hard from the start. As soon as you cap A from the west spawn 9 out of 10 the other team starts to panick and rush back to cap A forgetting about the rest. You do need 3-4 tanks though, you cant hold it on your own or with just 2 unless the other team is really bad or the RNG is totally on your side. CyberNapoleon 599 Report post Posted November 19, 2020 It's not just Normandy, there are many maps that are even worse, such as 38th Parallel. It's possible to be spawn-sniped literally about 30 seconds into the game. That flat out shouldn't be possible. Playing high tiers especially with it is a real chore, when everybody has guns that are powerful enough to kill tanks from those ranges, from their spawn to yours. SpankdaMonkey 708 Report post Posted November 26, 2020 You do know you can shoot back ? I frequently get a kill on a wanna be spawn sniper on A when I spawn on the flatland side.
Arium 1,666 Report post Posted November 29, 2020 Usually there's a simple solution - Leave spawn. Moving targets are harder to hit. Also, on every map, flanking to put pressure on the enemy from multiple directions is key, which should be done as soon as possible. The more time that is wasted on other things, the more time the enemy have to advance.

If you spawn on the east side, just sit on the protected hill below the church and you can spawn camp all the way to an easy victory. If you're on the west side, people have to push the (C) point on east's side in order to mitigate spawn camping and a potential loss. The whole field outside the city needs to be re-evaluated. I dont understand how when i spawn in i press W and my spawn protection is gone, yet i am rarely spawn killing someone else, they can shoot 5 times, and change multiple positions and still have their spawn protection. GIVE EVERY MAP A SPOT TO SPAWN BEHIND SOMETHING, AND LET SPAWN PROTECTION LAST UNTILL YOU LEAVE THE SMALL SPAWN ZONE. decrease spawn zone sizes too. Like its actualy rediculous how stupid you are too say just move??? kinda hard when the second you lose your spawn protection theres 15 shells flying at you from bushes on a mountain or the enemy spawn. A good example is american desert, both teams spawn behind a almost shield shaped area of rocks, you cant shoot out of it, you cant shoot into it. If the enemy gets close, then atleast you can hide behind the rocks, Spaa or any vehicle with spaa capabilities would be vehicles without spawn area invincibility only having the standard 30 second protection for obvious reasons, but anything else should atleast be able to leave spawn unharmed, while not being able to do harm because there are objects blocking the shooting path at enemy vehicles. There are way too many rediculous maps where you literaly can just spawn in and die from some C*** that moved 10 feet from their spawn up a hill and able to shoot you who fresh spawned too. players shouldnt have to be shitting themselves hard scopign the enemy spawn from their spawn to make sure they dont have a life time of 4 seconds
