air arcade battles Is it worth it to grind rank IV planes and up, for any nation actually ?

I'm a simple player enjoying, all the nations actually in Air Arcade. Got to rank 3 on US, and China, while still on rank 2 in Japan. I've noticed their rank 4 planes, specifically Ki-84 Otsu, Ki-84 Hei, J2M3 and J2M5 have for some reason 1,5% SL multiplier to them while repair costs stay around 3,5 - 5K SL. So, where's the hook ? I mean, they could make a nice machines for SL grinding if I managed to do at least 8 kills per match and haven't died, all in theory, but it just seems too easy. I feel like there is a hook I would discover after taking my time on grinding them and then regret it.

Also, in here I heard some rumours that, Air Arcade Battles at BR. 5.7+ are dead so, even after grinding to that point I would heavilly struggle to get out, or even use these rank IV planes ?

play RB, japanese planes are great when U play

but only play the first ki84, the others are overtiered because of armament
