Caralampio 90 Report post Posted November 16, 2020 (edited) I say, what's with the mighty P-26? People keep bring it to all kinds of battles, even those of relatively high BR (i.e., 3.7+). Although one can rarely see an out-of-place Fury or a He-51 in some battles, mostly it's the P-26 which will always be present in every battle. It's not even the best of the reserve planes, I think the He-51 and especially the primitive French monoplanes are way better. What is stranger still is that usually it is notorious that the pilot isn't exactly an ace... Most of the time they seem to be crawling on the deck and trying to get ground targets, and they hardly evade when attacked. So how does a newbie in a P-26 find himself in a higher BR battle? Or is there something about the P-26 that I'm miising which makes it a good choice at any level? Josephs_Piano 7,044 Report post Posted November 16, 2020 In many cases it's a squad where the higher BR squadmate is showing the "Ace" what high BR matches look like. Sometimes it's a high BR player just having a laugh or seeing if he can kill a Mig 21 or a Fw190 (or whatever) with a reserve plane. Kosher_Locust 120 Report post Posted November 18, 2020 I've seen the P-26 in some 6.7 BR matches. Usually it's someone who bought a high BR premium plane thinking he could fly it in lower level matches, and found out the hard way it doesn't work that way. Still, have to give them an A for effort. Caralampio 90 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 Well, I brought a peashooter into a higher level match once by mistake. I joined a squadmate but forgot to change my low-level set. I did manage to shoot down a much higher level plane- it was fun. But I don't do it regularly.
