Doesn't work here. Tried to play the game in "Low quality" but get the same result. War Thunder is impossible to play at the moment. It crashes every single time and it's getting pretty frustrating....

Same problem, since the last update the game is not to be played more then 5 min and shuts down... I think Big Sure and WT are not getting a long anymore.

Don't blame your Mac has nothing to do with it. The problem is the Gaijin I have friends who play it on PC that we play together and have the same bugs.

I installed the game on my Windows 10 drive (bootcamp) and it has been working perfectly fine since these macOS crashes started. it's a problem with macOS.

Don't have that card either, I have AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB. Crashing like crazy.

Here's a new clue.

 

I just flew an Assault Air battle (chase several waves of bombers and assault aircraft)

 

I was Topgun with 51 kills. I didn't crash to the desktop at all flying this mode.

 

However, when I switched to a regular arcade battle, I crashed to the desktop within three minutes.

I came back into the same mission with a different aircraft and crashed again to the desktop within a minute.

 

What is the difference?

All the enemy in Assault Air Battle are AI drones.

 

Maybe something in player vs player is leaking memory and causing the crash?

 

Would like other Macintosh pilots to confirm.  Can you fly Assault Air missions without crashing??

I can do boats just fine. That's mostly what I've been doing since the update because most air battles just crash the game a few minutes in, leading to my death. This is an unplayable game right now. It's absolute garbage.

I’m in the same boat, my game crashes every single match (Mac user). Initially it was only tanks but now air matches crash also. Very frustrated

Nothing to do with Assault Mode, that was just luck. Mine crashes out of Assault with the same frequency as any other mode (ie, all the time).

Just tried with Full Client Off and managed a full game Arcade without a crash to desktop

After a fews games still a crash to desktop with the full client off. But not as much as on.

I found a workaround on another thread, that if you turn off Full Client it's a bit more stable. I tried it and it only crashed once in about four games.
