IMAC crashing nonstop during matches, at least once a match


The game keeps crashing mid game, I was running on max graphics with no performance issues a sec before, 90 fps, then it suddenly crashes with no warning, no performance drops, it has severly ruined my entire week of playing this game, gaijin fix it pls

Still happening in today's update (2.1.0.82) and has been happening to me for a week. I reported with logs and etc last week, and others have, too.

 

If this was a PC problem it would've been fixed in a day or two max...it's been 7 days now for Mac users, and that seems wrong to me. Certainly is not encouraging, and makes buying premium account time seem stupid.

Me too. I've posted a lot of reports in another thread, but it doesn't hurt to make some more noise: I've lost five days of premium time because I can't finish a match without crashing to desktop.

I'm somewhere around 7-9 days wasted.  I've tried setting my graphics at minimum and it's reduced the frequency of crashes but not eliminated it.  Makes it really not worth playing.  

 

Reading a few people with Windows complaining about random crashes seems to indicate it isn't purely a Mac issue.

Its now been 2 weeks, and still nothing on this one.

This is almost outright theft at this point, that it took so long post the solution (only on the forums!) is even more frustrating.

Don't forget all the minor updates they've pushed out over fixing this issue....just saying

Same! I bought my Mac last year, I checked all requirements and they way exceed WT requirement. My game was fine until new power update, then the graphics gets funky (some player tank and burned out tank start having digital effect), game started crashing whenever it is temporarily switched to another tab, then it started to crash randomly without warning, averaging once every 3 matches to 3-4 times per match. It gets worse with naval rb, once you crash once you will almost certainly crash for as many times as you try to get back in the match.

 

I tried running hardware check by shutting down, starting and holding option + D while starting to initiate system check, everything is normal, just the game issue. Then I tried using VSync, lowering graphics to high, etc, none worked.

 

Extremely frustrating.

TURN OFF "FULL CLIENT"!

 

It's a check box in the loader on the lower right.

 

Turn it off and the game runs fine. It's something to do with textures, either the ones in the "full" pack are corrupted or they're taking up too much memory.

Still crashing after new update.... One month now and still no fix for the crashes. Also still ghost shells. Nothing is fixed.

can also confirm that the crashing is happening... it seems to be more frequently. Also interestingly enough I'm not having Ghost shell issues other than just the normal server jank. 

Hardware more than exceeds requirements... they really need to fix this instead of making the tracks look cool (although I must say that I do love the new effects) :D

I turned off Full Client, and it worked fine now. Thank you very much!

Although, I do miss the detailed texture, armor value + penetration indicator I used to enjoy with the full client.

Please fix this graphics thing asap Gaijin, I am very not used to this.
