Using CrossOver to play PC version of War Thunder on Apple M1

Can anyone check if War Thunder's Windows version works on Apple Silicon via the CrossOver app?

The videos below are examples of other Windows games running on the M1 via that app.

Witcher 3:

Mass Effect 2:

Metro Exodus:

Red Alert 3:

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a 2010 imac, i3 3,2ghz with ATI radeon HD 5670, i created a exFAT partition with disk utility and installed windows 8.1 on it, downloaded steam and war thunder, I am running it at minimum settings which is not bad because I had it running on minimum before the metal compatibility made it impossible to play on my old mac. It is basically what bootcamp does, downside is you have to restart/startup with windows partition

x86 (Intel) Macs aren't relevant to this thread.
