DeadlyDidley 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2020 in this video I was a bit confused on the fact that at 4 min and 40 sec the Tiger H1 with an 88mm penetration power managed to pierce through 100mm armour on the IS-2? in my mind I thought to get through armour like that you would need a tank with penetration power equivalent or more than that of the armour your shooting and I also see on tank rounds that they say their penetration power which is the same as the tanks? however in the video I believe he is using an APCBC or PzGr 39 shell, was he able to penetrate only due to the extra help from the cap on the round? Unsure On where the 88m pen power comes from, are you referring to the gun? If so it doesn’t matter as the stats of the shells are seen on their cards. The shell he used was the PzGr 39 with the penetration of 165mm at 0 degrees and 10 m. This shell has enough power to enter the Side of the turret and detonate. Ways of seeing if your shell can penetrate a certain area is the “Protection Analysis” - Extremely Useful in finding where you can shoot and penetrate using exact vehicles and each of their shells. for the SPAA part their rapid firing guns can find a way through your weak spots, annoying but easily countered Edited December 11, 2020 by The_Hunter00009@psn Spelling 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
