When going into a squad with another friend of mine and he was locked to certain factions for some reason and couldn't switch to others until he restarted, This only happened when we went into a squad, as he was able to choose any faction before joining my squad. We do Realistic battles yeah but haven't had this issue with others, For example with other friend he can choose regardless. Also didn't War Thunder get rid of that mechanic? Edit: feel like i should add this, It's a fresh install and also happens if he is squad leader. Edit2: We've figured its mostly the main factions I.E. USA GER and RUS that can't be selected whenever I lock in, If he chooses england the moment I join I can still choose any faction but the main factions will be greyed out for him.
