Problem: Not receiving credit for bombs dropped when killed before impact.

Hi all,

 

This is a fairly specific but very annoying problem that I've been having very often lately.  

 

I've been trying to grind out the Operation WINTER events for aircraft and so I have been pursuing the "drop 10 tons of bombs on enemy bases" objective.  And I keep noticing that there have been times where I've dropped bombs on an enemy base just before getting killed by an enemy fighter.  Then the base sustains damage/is destroyed from the bombs impacting but I do not get any points, RP, SL, or "tons of bombs dropped" credit for it.  Of course the times when I survive until the bombs hit I get credit as usual.  

 

This has happened to me at least a dozen times over the past week or two including multiple occasions when there were no other friendly bombers in the area so I know that it isn't another bomber on my team killing the base before my bombs get there.  

 

It is frustrating enough to try to get Ground Strike and Front Line missions that actually have bases to bomb, and then survive long enough in a bomber to actually drop on an enemy base.  Add this problem on top of all of this and it's hard not to feel cheated.  Please, Gaijin, fix your bloody game before Operation SUMMER 2021 at the very least.

Weirdly I've been getting the 'Base Destroyed' etc score applied to the fighter I'm using immediately after my bombers been killed on a bombing run for example.

When I kill an airplane at the same time I was destroyed (or sometimes after, during that window where you still can move and fire) it usuallly gives me the credit to the next airplane, but not always. However, for bombing I have found the same problem as the OP and it is very frustrating and unfair. Sometimes one struggles in the dying throes of a doomed bomber to just make it to the target and drop those bombs. It is even heroic. But no credit.
