Downloaded game from WT Website but Steam is not showing it in library ?

Hi Guys n Gals,

 

Quick question for you all maybe Noobish but obv not for me lol. So i installed the game via the War Thunder Website but when i log into steam it still says (INSTALL). how do i get steam to pick it up ?

Sorry if this is obvious but i find it eaiser to look at packs via steam if u get what i mean.

Website and Steam download are not the same.  If you have the WT website client downloaded you might want to try and link it thru steam.  Under one of the steam tabs on top there should be one called something like "add game to steam".  This should link WT to steam.

 

Edit: don't have steam on this computer so cant verify this 100%

Yea i tried the add non steam game but it doesnt like it lol. well thats for the reply ill just have to live with it :)

Go to steam

Click install game and pause the installation after it create proper steam directory.

Go to that directory and copy files from your already installed WT folder.

Launch install on steam again - it will check files and download only few necessary files.
