Playstation 4 controller with macOS

Hi all,

 

I recently purchased a PlayStation DualShock 4 controller to game with (on macOS).

 

Works great with DiRT 4 and Tomb Raider but I can't seem to get it to work within War Thunder. It is recognized by the game when I connect but no inputs seem to work - any tips?

 

DiRT 4 had a similar hiccup during (had to add a .plist to the game package). Apparently there are two types of DS4 controllers (https://support.feralinteractive.com/en/faqs/ps4_controller_support/)

 

I have the CUH-ZCT2U model. Is this the issue with War Thunder?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I figured it out.

 

I turned off Steam: Preferences: Controller: General Controller Settings: PlayStation Configuration Support

 

It seems to have been conflicting with/overriding the built in macOS support (Big Sur 11.2.1)

 

Didn't get any love on thread but hopefully this helps someone digging through the forum with the same question. :-)
