Kosher_Locust 120 Report post Posted January 26, 2021 New topic to add something different to the proceedings. I have a 6.3 German preset I fly all the time. The map was the China Mountain Range (which I've seriously gotten tired of). Thanks to Battle Pass I'd gotten a bunch of free backup planes. I got four kills on my Ta-152C-3, then three on the He-162. Not bad, almost in the zone. I might get 10-11 kills before it's over. Then something weird happened. My team seemed to disappear and the counter stopped with the Red at about 40% and Blue at maybe 10%. The red team swarmed the airfield so I'd launch a plane and get into a head-on. With at any time three guys around my only real option was to counter, as if I ducked under and swooped around one of his buddies would nail me. Probably 3/4 of the time I got him at the same time he got me. And it just kept going, I thought of walking away but wanted to see how long this would go on. All my fighters and their backups were used up. My last plane was the Me 262 A-1/U4, the one with the jousting pole 50mm cannon in front. The field seemed light, I wounded one guy but with only 32 rounds, hey, better than none. I dove hard and to the left getting to over 800KMH. My plan was to fly out, get high, and then do swooping runs keeping them at bay with speed. But someone was on top of me, I decided to turn to fight, and it was seriously 6 guys coming at me. I finished with 17 kills (!) My highest score ever at 6.3 (!!) and the Fighter's Nightmare (!!!) and Hero of the Sky awards (!!!!) AWESOME! Oh yeah, and 16 deaths.
