wimpwampwomp 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2021 Hello. I'm running War Thunder on macOS Catalina and can never find the 'UserSkins' folder. Where do I find it?
de Radio Demon@live 266 Report post Posted February 26, 2021 (edited) Since I am unaware of how far you have navigated through the files I will start it off simple in a way as if you are unable to go through the files so if you do know how to I do apologies if this seems a bit excessive, also I doubt it would be different in the process but I have not used a Mac OS Catalina but a MacBook Air but this should give a general idea of what you need to do . So since your on a Mac you should have your war thunder launcher somewhere in your application section in Finder (that or it should be in your downloads and in which case to make navigating to it easier each time I would suggest moving it to the applications section) When you find it you want to press right click for if you are using a mouse and if you are using the built in mousepad use 2 fingers to click on the launcher and then their should be a option which says "show package content" in which you want to click on that. Next continue and click the content folder with a normal double click since it won't think that you are opening any application, there you should see the actual War thunder application inside the content folder and you once again want to use 2 fingers at the same time to get to the "show package content" option again for the War thunder application as clicking it with a normal double click will probably open the game itself Following this you go through the next content folder and then their will be a few folders, the one you want to click on is the resources folder and continue through into the game folder and their the User skins folder will be there If it is not there you need to go into the game to any vehicle you have in customizations, there will then be the box that says users skins above it and where it says it's currently disabled, what you want to do is click the magic wand button to the far right of your screen from that box which will create a user sample which should in the process create the user skin folder where it should be, afterwards you can then finally download user skins which you need to drag the files for the skin in there, to delete any user skins you decided to delete just go in the folder and delete the specific skin from the folder.
