[Ukraine] T-62AGM - A heavily upgrade project for T-62

Hi everyone, I am going to suggest an upgrade version of T-62 called T-62AGM.

T-62AGM

 

Background:

 

The Kharkiv Morozov tank plant from Ukraine developed a series upgrade project for the former Soviet Union's tanks, this time T-62 is one of them. As the Ukrainian no longer use the T-62 anymore, this tank is mainly use for exportation. The upgrade package mainly focus in aspects including mobility, protection and firepower decrease the chance of defected enemy and increase their survivability. As the upgrade package of T-62AGM is similar to T-55AGM, they will share some similar information.

4. Add-on armor protection:

For hull: Add-on armor plate and explosive reactive armor on hull glacis plate and hull side skirts, add-on rubber side skirts on the hull side.

 

 

For turret: Add-on armor plates and explosive reactive armor installed on frontal arc and a set of explosive reactive armor installed on the turret roof.

Decoying away incoming ATGMs by setting light interference within a sector of ±20° relative to the main gun bore in the horizontal plane and ±2° in the vertical plane
