Don't accidentally shoot your own ground targets...

Earlier on I played a 4.0 Domination game. I did quite well for me. I shot down 7 enemy aircraft. In the final tally that netted me 7.2k SL for the kills. Quick maths that works out at about 1.02k per kill. Nice, I think to myself.

 

However with one of those kills I accidently strafed and killed one of our own armoured cars in a group that my target was going for. In the final tally it took 1.2k SL away from me for it! XD

 

Killing an armoured car cost me 117% of one of my aerial kills! I could buy them a new one for less than that! Lol!

 

So the moral of the story is watch where you're shooting and what's behind where you're shooting, boys and girls!

Lemme...hit one of my own ground vehicles every month or so. 

 

Was once keeping an eye on a MiG on one of he island maps to see if he was going to come after me.  Game was going great until I pancaked into a hillside while keeping an eye on him.

 

Several times my engine was shot out and I was gliding back to base to repair and deny the bad guy the kill, then KERPLOP just short of the runway.  

 

And I sometimes will have someone dead in my sights and forgot my guns had ticked over into reload.

Now you might think this one is really silly, but there was this time I was fighting a Bf 109 F-4/Trop in a Yak-3P, and I had a choice of taking a shot at it or running away, and I made the mistake of putting my faith in the 3x 20mm cannons I had. The cannons promptly sparked on that F-4, which detonated my plane shortly thereafter. 

There have also been more than a few times where I was smacked into the ground for the simple mistake of trying to play the game with less than competent ping/PL. Then there was that time I made the mistake of forgetting to pause background music before starting a match and the game client kindly decided to crash on me. There was another time where I done goofed up by spending time grinding for the Spitfire Mk Vc and trying to play it stock. And, how could I forget the time where I made the grave mistake of believing I could get through a crafting event without buying parts.

You know many recommend dropping your bombs right out of spawn, to gain speed and height better. One time that I did that, I destroyed 7 friendly vehicles! I didn't pay attention to the score, but I think I must have gotten negative lions for that one. Now I always look down first.
