Why so much range of BR for basically the same planes?

if you are getting destroyed all the time in a stock plane then you are gonna get destroyed in a fully spaded plane as well.

This canard is repeated constantly, and it's totally out of place here. The issue isn't "getting destroyed all the time," it's that the real-world difference made by actual upgrades to aircraft are eclipsed by the fictional upgrades we earn or purchase as mods. How can you possibly read the climb rate numbers from my previous post and still believe this nonsense, much less think it's appropriate in this context to repeat a cliché dismissing the significance of the mod grind?

without people who spend money on the game the game would not exist.

Originality isn't your strong suit, is it? This is patently true, and I've parroted it myself, but it doesn't justify every conceivable type of monetization. Premium time, premium vehicles, convertible RP, and the marketplace are all relatively inoffensive revenue. If the greasier stuff like mod purchases, ace crews, and accelerated training make enough potential customers of those other income sources turn up their nose at "p2w," and I know people personally who have, then the continued existence of the game is threatened by these, not supported by them.

If a spit and a 109 (of same BR, uptiers are a different story) start a turnfight at the same speed, the 109 will need to dump speed to keep turning with the spit. If the 109 keeps it's speed, it will have a higher turning radius, and the spit will be able to get inside of the curve and get the kill. If the spit misses the shots, well, it's on the pilot, not the plane. And the 109 can't keep on this forever, since it will stall out earlier than the spit. If the spit is losing more energy than the 109, it's exaggerating on the controls and wasting energy pushing turns beyond what he needs.

Massive misconception. The 109 can abuse flaps and easily outturn a spitfire. The energy retention difference is so much that a spit cannot sustain the turnfight against a 109. I've never once lost a turnfight to any spitfire in all my 10,000+ kills in bf109s.

I hope some time we face each other on a random match. Because I never lost a turnfight on my spit against a Bf109 or any other plane except the japanese :)

Would be cool to face good challenge

again you dont see the differences in arcade, in RB its completely different due to many modifications that you dont notice in Arcade, like improved hydraulics booster or G-suit.

and maybe in Arcade you cant tell difference between 1000 hp and 1400 HP engines, in Rb it makes huge difference...

Yeah, well I am talking about AB. THe BR 4.7 and the 2.0 range I'm complaining is in AB. I can understand that in RB subtle differences will become notable, but I don't really like RB and don't even dream of ever playing SB. Aside from the fact that I suck mightily in RB,  the fact of one-shot-you're-dead, like in go back to the hangar, not fun at all.
