Ps5 FPS drops, Stutters and screen tearing is still not fixed after a year of complaining


Stuff like this being an issue on PS5 for almost a year of complaining about it is why I don’t want and most likely will not recommend this game to friends I’ve been wanting to play the game with me. I was even going to consider a premium vehicle fir some friends but now I don’t want to recommend a thing if this is how the game will stay for a good 8 plus months. 
 

when I first downloaded the game the FPS drops, Stutters, etc weren’t there SO WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GAME TO MAKE THIS AN ISSUE FOR NEARLY A YEAR? It’s very concerning that I’m also told “it’s being looked at/fixed” when jack sh## has been done from what I experienced every few months when I come back to the game.

 

GROUND RB is even Worse for me. So JUST IMAGINE. This isn’t the only map it’s over a dozen of maps that get this way with FPS drops, stutters, &/or screen tearing. What is the issue I’m really serious because I’m seriously thinking about pulling my recommendations to this game altogether. It’s still not a finished product on Next Gen. 

 

Lastly, keep in mind this is the only game I’ve ever experienced any of this stuff with. At worst COD had a little bit of screen tearing when tons of zombies mobbed you but nothing CLOSE to the mess I see in War Thunder Ian’s it’s crazy because this game isn’t DCS so I’d love to know what the problem is, and get a timeline on when is this mess getting F I X E D. The non transparency and ignoring of the community is just insane at this point. 

These first 3 videos is the game currently. How does a game get worse in performance after countless times of saying you’d fix it? How does the complete opposite happen?

btw Ground RB test drive has gotten worse with screen tear, and FPS drops ;) so that’s FUN. 
 

Same trend with Air RB maps with this issue instead of an annoying 30 FPS it’s below slightly 20fps IF YOU ARE LUCKY LOL. This is just sad and just very frustrating. 
 

If this game ran smoothly I’d recommend it but it doesn’t. That’s the one big thing I hate. If that was fixed I’d probably be back to playing the game frequently but now that it doesn’t run well anymore after December 2020 (issues started nearing Jan 2021 if not Feb) I have 0 incentive to play or enjoy the game.

Hello! Thank you for the information. This problem has been fixed in the current version. 

We know about other problems. We are working on a fix.

Thank you for acknowledging this. I know most of you are just doing your job but the game is already hard to get into with it’s learning curve but I’d like to actually be able to introduce new players to the game without them getting frustrated with performance issues (serious FPS drops + Screen Tear ok hardware that really should t struggle doing 4k 60fps in almost any high end game) amongst other things that if they were simply fixed I’d just enjoy the game again like I used to. I very well appreciate the reply to my concern. 
 

overall the issue isn’t the consoles it is definitely some assets on the map creating more disturbances than they should. (This is just speculation) I believe it has to do with grass, trees, buildings or something else on specific maps that cause this. Some maps with tons of trees and crazy render distance have 0 fps drop, and 0 screen tear. Some maps with less assets on the map drop the console down to a good 15-20fps with tons of screen tear despite being a less dense map sometimes.

This problem has been fixed in the current version on PS5. You shouldn't have the FPS drops on maps like Mozdok, Ladoga etc. Please, if this problem still relevant for you, create a new topic.

Actually the problem with FPS drops on maps like Mozdok was only on PS5 console. Thank you for your time and help.
