# Description

ZTZ 99-III's composite armor is more angled than what is shown in X-ray mode in the hangar, which possibly affect the overall protection of the tank

 

# Steps to reproduce the issue

1. View ZTZ99-III with protection analysis

2. View the tank from the front 

3. Shoot with the DTW-125 at that part of the hull

4. Change the angle of your view before the shell hits the armor

5. You will see the angled composite armor

6. Without changing your angle of your view, go to X-ray mode

7. You will notice the composite armor on x-ray mode is less angled

Hi,

 

Thanks for the report. It seems that the thickness of the ERA blocks seems to be thinner than those on the ZTZ99-II.

 

I will give it to the devs.
