Can somebody please help me with assigning F1 key binding

I want to use it for something other than its current function which is  the "help" screen.

 

I have found old threads on it, which are not applicable anymore. (Where the solution was to edit a blk file that I can't find in the location it was supposed to be 5+ years ago)

I think this may be a solution but you may have to double check. You might be able to change the binding through the controls menu or the options menu (probably the controls menu), I hope this fixes your problem

No there isnt. Try assigning the F1 to something there, there wont come a message saying that F1 is already assigned to something. But when you use it for whatever you assign it with you get that annoying helpscreen that blocks the entire screen with it.
