Possible issue with the Steam integration on the new texture files

The new texture files technically "fails" the steam validation if it is not set to "Full Client" and will uninstall/reinstall to the "Full client setting".
Might be worth making those packs as free "DLC" or just making the launcher files as the "Game" on steam might prevent this onwards.

I guess you can disregard this then. I didn't realize they were a thing before the april fools update and have to reinstall 90 GBs now.....

The texture pack DLCs are free. Are you still having the issue you mentioned in your original post?

The update process was a bit of a pain since I had a copy backed up just incase something happened to it, and there were a few issues "installing" the DLC's although the higher resolution pack was already applied to the game linked to steam. 
I eventually ended up modifying steam's library files to skip the download for the DLCs and it seems to be working as intended for now.
