Why the heck is the b29 superfortress 7.3 in br???

Why the b29 is 7.3? I can't see the point. When i'm playing it I just die because jets climb so fast and i can't do anything to them because i have only 12mm machine guns. It would be great to get it to 6.3 or even 6.7.

And also jets one shot me with their 30mm cannons.
