I've come around on it as a regular tree vehicle, as literally the only option Israel has for a light tank line (and thus the ability to scout) is AMX13-->AML90-->this thing-->ZELDA-->EITEN.

Thanks! And that sounds like a perfect light tank line.

Also now that I look into it there's a nimda 90mm upgrade to the amx and may be a 60mm hvms version too somewhere, but I'm not sure

Both of those are true! I don't know if they have been suggested yet, but Nimda offers a HUGE range of upgrades to the AMX-13, including those two guns. If they haven't bee suggested, every version of it should be!

They also developed HVMS (the 60mm on the AUBL) for use on the M113 and M24 ;)

Israel is for me the nation for unique modifications on common vehicles like Centurion, M60 and a PT-76 upgunned with a 90mm gun sounds like a pretty good addition to the israeli tech tree. +1

I might be a little off topic, but can you please find more information about the X-200 transmission and the maximum forward and reverse speeds the PT-76 Nimda would have with it? I searched online for an answer so much but I can't manage to find the gear ratios of the X-200 transmission, only that it has 4 forward gears and 2 reverse gears (ingame would likely have more gears to account for lack of torque).

I'll do my best, but when researching for this post I came up with just as little information. I'm not quite sure where to go to get that info, but I can keep trying.

Greetings, maybe came a little late. But I found this brochure, according to which, the NIMDA upgraded PT-76 is called PT-76-2000. Picture is at the link below.

Thank you very much! Also, this picture is for some reason highly compressed on NIMDA's site, open it in a seperate window so it would appear in its surprisingly high resolution of 2330x2238.

Interesting! I've never seen it labelled that elsewhere, but any info is useful! Thanks!
