i leave the original rounds in-game for the 120mm so we have a point of comparison. we know that Gaijin Nerf a bit the APFSDS for balance purpose so it may have a penetration reduced of about 30mm in all distance but it would remain a pretty good rounds regardless.

 

at the same time, the French gun also have the OFL 120 F2 who is made of DU. it shall give a penetration of around 600mm at short distance. but it was withdraw from services in the 2000s because of the policy on the matter of Depleted Uranium use. so the EMBT wouldn't get it (only the Leclerc S2 and XXI could get it)

i suggest to give it a generic belt of API/HEI/SAP/HEI
this belt would be much more effective against aircraft than ground target. but could still be dangerous for the light vehicles.

It should give a penetration around this

Wasn't the 30mm also advertised with proximity rounds to defeat drones and other air targets such as helicopters & jets ?

I wonder how Gaijin would implement proximity 30mm rounds shot at a 750 RPM ...

very likely, however, Gaijin seldom add researchable belt for the auxiliary armament. i would just love to have a full APDS belt for the 20mm of the AMX 30.

Quick question is the turret even manned? 

since it has two driver ports and the turret is incredibly flat could it be that they just did the same thing as the T-14?

i think this version is way too young to implement, but the older version of the embt is perfect, literally just a upgraded leo217 hull, with a leclerc turret with more modern systems, would be perfect for both germany and france. for germany, right under the kpz, for france? right under the amx 40

If they really want to give it to only one nation it should be Germany because they have the oversight over the project, but both nations should get it.

Rather for France than Germany, Germany have more than enough tanks for 7-8th Ranks.

 

EMBT Early at 11.0 and this one at 11.0 or even 11.3-7 maybe even as new 8th rank.

Its a Franco/German project, so its going to go to both like the MBT-70 going to both the US and Germany

The EMBT is also capable of mounting the French 140mm ASCALON (Autoloaded and SCALable Outperforming guN) in future.
ASCALON 140 mm CT gun has a Muzzle Energy of 20 MJ. NLOS round expected to have a range of 8km to 15 km.
