Silverdot 7 Report post Posted June 15, 2022 New here. I was flying Japan, my top rating is a 1.7 in Japan. I get hosed by a P51D. So I try to look up the BR of the P51...it's not listed on my planes to research or in the buy column. So, anyone know it's battle rating? I guess it's better than my Otsu at 1.7. I was under the impression you don't get battle with planes ranked 1 more than you? and how would I get a P51 if I wanted one? Because it is the A it is Allison powered (same as P-40) and not Merlin (changed with the 51C). It is good until roughly 4km, but suffers above. But it can't climb that well anyway. Armed with 4x .50, that don't get the API-T tracer belt of the later P-51 to my knowledge. The main and only selling point is being fast and one of the better high speed controls maybe. And because of the downtier mechanic in WT it can be dragged down to BR 2.7 from its normal BR of 3.0 in AirAB.. So, you can meet it with a 1.7 plane. I think you are talking about the Ki-45 otsu. If you join a squad, your Total Battle Rating will be determined by the highest BR of any player in your squad, which can be much higher than yours.
