Silverdot 7 Report post Posted June 24, 2022 Can anyone tell me which is better to fly in AB with a Joystick....the realistic cockpit view, the view of the whole plane, or just the cross hairs? And maybe why?
_grampaw_itchee_ 102 Report post Posted June 24, 2022 No way is better with a joystick in AB. You're at a disadvantage no matter which you choose. Some have mastered using a joystick in AB but it is an arduous undertaking. I myself gave up on using a joystick when I realized how badly out played I was. If you really want to use a joystick best stick to SB where you'll find yourself flying in the cockpit.

It kept banking and rudderring to the right...a lot....like I had to hold 30 degrees of each to fly straight.

That's why you trim your rudder or ailerons to counter the propeller torque

All I could find was elevator trim. do I need to select a particular level of control to access them? Do I need to specify the most realistic mode? Should show up on full control, some aircraft can only trim their rudder or aileron in test flight so you'll have to save the trim there that you want then it'll load that saved trim in battle
