Client size sets to "Full Ultra HQ (92,3 GB)" by default

I wish to always play on Full client or Minimal client.

Every time I launch War Thunder through steam (I don't launch it any other way), it switches to "Full Ultra HQ (92,3 GB)" and starts downloading until I switch it back to "Full client".

Is there a way to set "Full client" by default?

umm... when you start the game from Steam you shouldn't even see the launcher (unless you choose the 'update game manually' option) ?!

Steam launches the launcher currently.
My update settings for the game are:

I have the same issue, but only when i launch it over the launcher, it happens sometimes.
