Andd we're getting the silent treatment. I do wonder, jets 0.3 BR up are getting 60Ms or R-73s while being only 0.7 BR up. That means F-4F will ALWAYS be sucked into those games, making it pretty much defenceless against them and their radar missiles.

Nothing new, issue will be ignored until its too late, and then will be used at a moment of low player numbers

Just unlocked the F-4F and... holy... this is just sad, took off, flew for 2 minutes and got killed by an AIM-7F in frontal aspect and... I couldn't do anything other than dive, lose altitude and then stick to the deck, you can't even fight back because you need to get a rear-aspect on them, and you can't because they accelerate better, they turn better etc.

 

How is this jet performing in the upper bracket?? I don't understand, the only thing you can do is fly off to the side and hope your team doesn't get annihilated by F-14s.

So, I guess we should all start playing F-4F and just fly into the center to die, although I do wonder how a 0.62 K/D according to Thunderskill is this amazing in the first place. Does Gajin include bombed bases in their statistics?

Wait, so a K/D and K/B of 0.5 is "towards the upper bracket"?

 

I know TS is usually considered inaccurate but it's still a huge database...

The bis-SAU has 980 battles and gets 1.55/1.75 air frags per battle/death. Practically same winrate (Which makes sense as both are the BR range and nation). Yet the bis-SAU gets lowered in BR ...

I could only explain this if Gajin counted bombing bases (Which thunderskill doesnt count) or counts GRB and ARB seperately, but even then its ground frags suck as well

In light of this @Smin1080p would it be possible to ask the devs to really reconsider their decision about F-4F not receiving 9Ls this update? 

 

I am fully aware Thunderskill has been discontinued and taunted as inaccurate by Gaijin, however it paints a picture that F-4F is really and truly not performing as well as claimed back in October, and that it needs better armament ASAP. I can somewhat understand the Brits not getting theirs as they have SAHR armament, but, Germany does not and it is incredibly painful - every F-4F player i've spoken to (and my own experience in it) has always said that the jet is straight up unplayable at top tier, and the shared statistics do prove this. The K/D and K/B are both faaaaar below the average, and WR is only that high because the occasional F-4F gets carried by better planes with far superior armament.

Yeah super stealthy. I took off  in Air RB and tried to lock enemy planes from a frontal aspect and failed.... Got killed one time....another time....before I finally checked the loadout and noticed I was flying out with just R-60's instead R-60M. From that point on I never used the Su22 again. Just R-60 at this high BR is like nothing. You'd better fly Mig-21MF and get R-60 like 1 BR bracket lower.

Thunderskill is not at all representative of the actual stats, which the devs used today to provide the answer that I answered just a few hours ago. 

 

As I mentioned in the earlier answer, they will be following the stats of the aircraft and make any changes accordingly. However right now, its levelled out at its BR as have the FGR.2/FG.1. Both the UK and Germany will receive new top fighters in a future patch.

Maybe if the true stats were publically available people wouldn't get so riled up by the constant usage of "our internal stats say..." as a means to justify the end.

Would it be possible to share those "actual stats" with us, or are we gonna be kept in the dark about a jet that's geniuenly suffering?

 

Because if every single F-4F player is telling you that the jet is bad, even non F-4F players are saying its bad... yet, Gaijin is still in denial that it's somehow good at its BR, fighting F-14s and MLDs (without even mentioning F-16 and MiG-29) when it really isn't, then they should stop looking at biased stats alone and see what it has to play with and what it has to play against.

 

Besides that, unless Gaijin can reveal the inner stats for us to see, TS is accurate as far as I am aware (besides the fact Gaijin only started to hate it after the Su-11 and CL.4 incidents... hmm, mysterious...).

Can’t you just simple say “no we don’t give F4F AIM9L because we don’t wanna” because you now acting like it this isn’t about stats anymore despite we have stats to show you how bad it performs yet it still got ignore

Something I learned today: MiG-23ML apparently did not have the capability to even carry R-24s in real life - it gets them in the game anyways.

 

While Gaijin denies both 9Ls and AIM-7 for F-4F. If this isn't bias, I dunno what else is.

Just start doing it now. I'm already at 0.54 K/D and 50% WR after ~30 matches (GE'd 9Js btw!). Playing it normally but it's just impossible to make it work. Maybe if we get in 200 - 300 matches before patch goes live, they will notice that "ok this thing really needs help".

PR Phantoms don't have ability to carry AIM-9J, as the missile rail was changed to LAU-7A to accept AIM-9L missile. Thus it should receive AIM-9L.

This is an export manual, referring to what appears to be the Czech armament. This is not reflective of the Soviet MLs armament. The premium version coming to the game is Soviet.

It's mind boggling that more or less every aircraft gets an Aim-9L nowadays but this aircraft doesn't, despite having such a high BR. Even the EJ Kai (which is arguably the best phantom in the game) gets access to Aim-9L yet F-4F doesn't. 

 

One may argue that Japan doesn't have any alternative to F-4EJ Kai so they gave 9Ls at the cost of BR increase, but when you think about it in the end of the day F-4F will face more or less what EJ Kai faces so why even wait to see how things play out.

Its rank also got increased as well, as did every other plane that got new missiles. Well except the F-14 but it really doesn’t need Aim-9L’s.

Against new fighter sure F4F F-14 anything else need 9L F-16 can have 9M as for GR7 they gonna be only sub sonic among top tier it should get better Missile to defend itself (yep and i mean ASRAAM)

Allready down to a 1.69 K/D with 46% Winrate

Played for around 33 matches today, of which I have the statistics for the last 25 (Forgot to screenshot my statcard until after I already played a couple matches)

 

Of those 25 matches, I won 11 (44%), died in 19 and killed 9 enemies, 3 of which were AI aircraft. Thats an amazing 0.31 K/D ratio, and 0.24 K/B#
