Type 69 Not Worth it at 8.0

I suggest everyone to make a long turn around this bad tank. 220mm apfsds does 0 at 8.0. The Heat-FS it has, is like rolling a dice, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. So it has literally no round that can be used at 8.0. Rather play the Type 59 with its 300mm APDS or 240mm ABCPC round. My own ingame stats show me how bad this Type 69 is compared to Type 59.

 

With 220mm of pen it doesnt belong to 8.0 at all. Yes blabla Stabilizer, wont help u in a 1n1 engagement, if your unable 220mm Pen-Round cant go through 99% of tanks mantlets to disable at least Gunbreach/Gunner to make a follow up shot to finish off...

Yeah the apfsds on the type 69 takes some getting used to. It'll ammo rack like no other but has some **** poor flat and post penetration. I prefer the type 59 but it's by no means a bad vehicle at 8.0

i personally prefer the ztz69 over the 59, because the 69 is more mobile compared to the 59 overall. it also gets night vision and a laser rangefinder, too. The dart takes time to get use to, but once you do, it works on pretty much everything you fire at, apart from some heavies, like the T32 or the IS-3/4(at the front), and that's where i have extra heatfs rounds if i get involved with them. also heatfs has always been inconsistent in terms of how much damage it deals.

 

In my personal opinion, it is one of the more balanced vehicles at 8.0.

I also quite like the Type 69. The darts are a little poopy, but work on most targets with minimal issues. I still tend to keep HEAT-FS loaded first since it tends to do the job. The only opponents I have found hard to fight with this are the T-64A, T-55AM, and Maus.

 Maybe type 69 should be in BR7.7 in RB so it won't face T-64A sometimes. Same thing goes to the M41D.

The worst part really is the repair cost which is almost 10k SL.

It`s just not worth it since you`ll be trashed by every Leopard and T-55 you`ll meet.
