Minor nations that could be added to the German air tree to breech the gap between Mig-29 to the Eurofighter

the netherlands definitely has unique planes lmao, ever heard of Fokker? the benelux has way more unique planes than switzerland and korea and is on par with yugoslavia. Germany does not need a subtree to fill some hypothetical gap

I was thinking about tanks when I wrote this which are more than 80% c&p. This thread is about a subtree for germany and some people suggested a dutch subtree. No point arguing about it if it´s a good idea. It´s still gaijins decision what planes and tanks to add. 

A mod confirmed 6 months ago that argentinian vehicles are getting added to Germany. There are enough vehicles which have connection to germany which still could be added.

it's really a bad idea, germany doesn't need a subtree and it would be wasting a lot of dutch designs for just an F-16

So your argument is "well I don't think Germany needs a subtree" Brits didn't need one, they got one anyway. The Netherlands are militarily quite close to Germany, use German equipment and would breath some new air and fill out gaps in the TT quite well, as well as adding some unique Dutch designs/modifications

so your argument is "britain got a subtree too" then you're acknowledging that germany does not need a subtree just to get a plane between the mig-29 and the eurofighter

There are other reasons to add a Dutch subtree beyond an F-16, but that's neither here nor there since you seem to not care for any reason other than "well I don't think Germany needs one". In this particular thread, if you've failed to notice, is about if a subtree was added then which one would fill the gap the best, and what nations would be the best fit if one was added. And unfortunately, to get a plane between the Fulcrum and the Eurofighter, a subtree would be needed.

again i do not really care about politics or conflicts between two nations that's something for IRL not a videogame. you could also throw Poland and Ukraine in to the Russian tech tree i wouldn't mind.

Its about how to keep a tech tree kompetitive and fun. 

It  isn't really fun playing a nation that is just a RP piñata for others because "it didn't have the right equipment for that time period". Sooner or later Israel will have the same Problem and just like Japan or Korea they don't have any close friends besides the US.

adding a whole subtree just for that is stupid when germany can get other versions of the tornado, the F-4F ICE or really just one foreign plane without adding a subtree with it.

F-4F ICE makes no sense without AMRAAMs and seeing how gaijin introduced the JA 37D without AMRAAMs its reasonable to assume that they'll do similar bs with the ICE

I’m failing to see your counter. Why shouldn’t we add more planes to the game? It works better if a tree is lacking and actually deserves to get some.

i'm not against adding new content, but it's a bad idea in this context to add a subtree to a country that doesn't need it when it can have its own planes or just a single foreign one while ruining the country that got added as a subtree (in this case the netherlands which would definitely not benefit from being compressed into a subtree when most of its planes are from WW2 or before, when germany and the netherlands were definitely not friends)

Difference is I believe the JA37 physically can carry Sparrows while the ICE cannot. Correct me if I'm wrong
